Tear sample extraction system for welded plate

The sample extraction system uses a cutting and flexing device for separating a sample section (14) of defined shape and size from the surface of the plate (7), before application of a tension force acting on the welded seam (17) via the sample section.Pref. the plate is placed on a table with an opening for the cutting and flexing device and is held to the table during operation of the latter and is free to move relative to the table during the application of the tension force.
