A machine for applying an adhesive-coated film to the outer faces of a profiled section (7) has film application rollers (1-5) mounted in groups on several parallel supports (6) which are simultaneously adjustable perpendicular to the movement of the profiled section (7). An alternative machine has pressure rollers adjusted by guides at a constant angle to the profile. USE/ADVANTAGE - Setting-up time during changes between different profiles is reduced to a minimum while retaining high accuracy.
