<p>PURPOSE: To equally share switching loss of a parallel transistor. CONSTITUTION: A system for sharing switching loss of a parallel transistor is disclosured. The system is provided with plural transistors 14 and 16 that are connected in parallel for feeding to a load 22. A pulse generator 36 offers pulse cycles that undergo pulse width modulation, in response to the load current that has one pulse signal for every pulse cycle. An alternate selector 30 responds to the pulse cycle and provides the pulse cycle to the registers 14 and 16. Thereby, a prescribed transistor is turned on, essentially earlier than the others in every pulse cycle to practically consume an entire turn-on loss, and the prescribed transistor is turned off virtually later than the others and the entire turn-off loss is essentially consumed.</p> |
