PURPOSE:To embody a both-side copying machine whose copying efficiency is extremely high and which can reduce loss time in both-side copying. CONSTITUTION:Whether or not paper is inserted in a paper manually feeding part is detected (S10). When the paper does not exist, whether the paper exists in a resist roller part is checked by a sensor for a resist roller and the paper in the resist roller part is preferentially processed (S11). Next, the manually fed paper is processed (S12 and S13), operation is restored to the S10, and whether or not the next paper is inserted in the paper manually feeding part is checked. When the next paper is not set, whether the paper having the 1st side on which an image has been recorded stands by at the exit of a both-side unit is decided (S14). In the case the paper does not exist at this position, the operation is restored to the S10. In the case the paper exists at the exit of the both-side unit, whether or not another preceding paper exists at the resist roller part is checked, and the paper in the resist roller part is preferentially processed (S15). Furthermore, in the case the existence of the manually fed paper is not checked, the paper at the exit of the both-side unit is processed and the operation is restored to the S10. |
