PURPOSE:To easily form granular particles into the state of strip-like coil by introducing a strip into a conveyance route branching in a manner capable of connection and disconnection from a conveyance route at the position this side of strip dividing position and by winding up the strip in a coil via bending rolls fitted to the branching conveyance route. CONSTITUTION:The granular particles A are fed between the joining peripheries, facing each other, or a couple of forming rolls 1, 2 turnably opposed, and the resulting continuous, long-size strip A1 which is compacted between the joining peripheries by means of the turning of the rolls 1, 2 is divided on a conveyance route 7 succeeding the rolls 1, 2, so that individual briquettes A2 can be obtained. The strip P1 is introduced into the conveyance route 13 branching in the manner capable of connection and disconnection from the conveyance route 7 at the position this side of the dividing position, and the strip A1 is wound up into a coil A3 via the bending rolls 15 fitted to the branching conveyance route 13.
