PURPOSE:To detect surely, in an early stage, collision at a position remote from a collision sensor. CONSTITUTION:Engaging parts 17 and 18 and locking members 19 and 20 (movement regulating members), regulating an interval, between a collision sensor 12 fitted to a side impact beam (fixing member)14 and the locking plug 16a (specific point) of a protection molding 16 protruded in the inner surface of an outer plate 15, within a prescribed dimension, are provided between the outer plate 15 and the side impact beam 14. Consequently a collision to a position, remote in a vertical direction from the fitted position of the collision sensor 12, can be also surely detected in an early stage as in the case of a collision against the fitted position of the collision sensor 12. |
