Composite with increased durability - contg glass fibre and binding agent additives including aluminosilicate filter ash

The cement consists of glass fibre, hydraulic binding agent and additives comprising finely dispersed filter ash such as the aluminosilicate type obtd. from lignite firing plant and/or ground foundry sand. The amt. of additive is 20-85 wt.%, pref. 20-50 wt.% in which he proportion of aluminosilicate filter ash is at least 20 wt.%. The hydraulic binding agent is pref. portland cement clinker in an amt. of 0.01-80 wt.%, pref. 10-65 wt.%. The glass fibre content is 2.0-10, pref. 3-5 wt.%. The composite material is produced by mixing, spraying, extruding, etc., followed by storing the raw material under normal conditions for up to 28 days or with the help of water vapour at up to 90 deg.C to harden it. ADVANTAGE - The additive reduces the alkali content in the composite material and increases its working life.
