PURPOSE:To press-mold an interior material into an interior article and simultaneously enable the end part of the interior article to be covered with a skin material by providing a thrusting blade surrounding an interior article molding part at a position deviated from the interior article molding part in either one of a male mold or a female mold, with which the skin material is brought into contact, and providing a receiving base, against which the edge of the thrusting blade abuts, on the other mold. CONSTITUTION:A receiving base 4 having a receiving face 4a on the upper side thereof is joined to an outer periphery on the base end side of the protruding portion 2a of a male mold 2 by a mounting bolt 'b', and a thrusting blade support 3 is joined to a female mold 1 by a mounting bolt 'b', the support 3 being provided in the vicinity of the terminal part of the recessed portion 1a of the female mold so as to surround the recessed portion 1a and being provided with a thrusting blade 3a having an edge at the top end i.e. the lower end of the support 3. When an interior material is set on the protruding portion 2a of the male mold 2 in such a manner that the skin material side of the interior material faces upward, the female mold 1 is lowered, and the interior material is molded into the shape of an interior article 5 being a molded product. At a position close to the down-terminal end of the female mold 1, the edge of the thrusting blade 3a presses the skin material and begins to bite thereinto and, simultaneously, the base material begins to be recessed. At the down-terminal end portion of the female mold 1, the end part of the interior material is held between the edge of the thrusting blade 3a and the receiving face 4a of the receiving base 4 to be cut off. |
