<p>PURPOSE:To provide a volume reduction treatment device which efficiently fuses plastic wastes. CONSTITUTION:A radiation emitting means 12 which irradiates plastic wastes with a radiation is attached to a screw 3 which is rotated by a driving means provided within a volume reduction container 2 into which the plastic wastes are thrown. The soft plastic wastes are embrittled by the irradiation, and the plastic wastes are caused to rub against each other, generating frictional heat, thus the wastes are thoroughly fused.</p> |
