COOLING SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To obtain high cooling efficiency by providing a water pipe between cylinder bores to make cooling water flow in a cooling system for an internal combustion engine provided with mutually adjacent cylinders. CONSTITUTION:A water pipe 16 is provided piercing a cylinder wall 15b between the adjacent cylinder bores of a cylinder block 15. One end of the water pipe 16 is disposed in the cooling water passage 13a of a cylinder head 13, and the other end is disposed in the precooling passage 13b of the cylinder head 13.
