OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To form a protective layer more excellent in durability to mechanical breaking than a conventional protective layer and to improve the durability of light transmissivity by incorporating at least one kind of ammonium salt of fluorine-contg. carboxylic acid into a material forming the protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer is formed on a substrate and a protective layer based on polymer latex is formed on the recording layer. A material forming the protective layer contains at least one kind of ammonium salt of fluorine-contg. carboxylic acid. Since the resulting protective layer is excellent in strength to mechanical damage, an optical recording medium excellent in durability of light transmissivity can be obtd.
