PURPOSE:To furnish a controlling device of running which prevents application of an impact on a machine frame by a contact operation at the time of turning in a motor-driven industrial vehicle, particularly in a tricyclic vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A steering sensor for detecting a steering angle and a control means 2 which limits a current flowing from a battery 1 to first and second running motors DM-L and DM-R by changing a chopper operation rate of a running transistor Q at a switching steering angle between a two-wheel drive mode and a one-wheel drive mode and at a switching steering angle between the one-wheel drive mode and a reversing drive mode on the basis of an output of the steering sensor at the time of turning, are provided.
