PURPOSE:To obtain a solar battery which has large specific surface area and can effectively absorb solar radiation, by applying a cloth foil containing conductive fiber to an electrode and forming an amorphous silicon photoelectric potential inducing layer and a collector electrode on the conductive fiber. CONSTITUTION:A cloth foil 1 composed of conductive fiber is applied to an electrode, on which pile fiber 2 constituting an amorphous silicon photoelectric potential inducing layer and a transparent film 3 constituting a collector electrode are formed. For example, on a plain cloth net constituted by weaving twist yarn whose element is a copper wire 0.015mm in diameter, copper wires 0.1mm in diameter with a 6mm length are planted, thereby forming a raised fabric of 2cm square. After the warp fabric is plated with gold, an N-type amorphous silicon layer is epitaxially grown. The transparent film wherein the collector electrode is formed by spreading conductive adhesive agent while the raised pile is thrown down is bonded to form a solar battery. |
