PURPOSE:To balance the lateral weight of a machine body simultaneously with attaining the compactness and low center-of-gravity of the machine body in a self-traveling type working machine by lowering the position of a transmission. CONSTITUTION:A transmission case 4 is disposed in a space between lateral wheels respectively supported at the tips of lateral axles 57, 58, and divided into a right case half body 52 and a left case half body 53 with the centerline of a machine body placed in between. A transmission 51 with a main shaft 55 and a countershaft 56 is enclosed in the right case half body 52, and differential mechanism 78 and differential lock mechanism 83 are enclosed in the left case half body 53.
