<p>PURPOSE:To perform wire extension work efficiently and safely by connecting a preceding transmission wire with a following one in front of a wire-extension roller, in other words at a part where no wire extension tension is applied, and by performing the connecting work easily. CONSTITUTION:Steel clamps 27a and 27b are compressed and fixed to the steel cores of preceding and following transmission wires 1a and 1b between a wire-extension roller 3 and a drum 5, and they are connected through the medium of a split-in wire 17. The steel clamps 27a and 27b are caused to pass the wire-extension roller 3, and the transmission wires 1a and 1b are extended continuously. After the wire extension, the steel clamps 27a and 27b are anchored to series of insulators 25, and the split-in wire 17 is removed. Then, sliding-split-type aluminum clamps 31a and 31b are set, compressed, and fixed.</p> |
