<p>PURPOSE:To obtain accurate input coordinate even when an input operation is performed as a pen type input device while being rotated by detecting a signal from a piezoelectric oscillation gyro, and using it for rotation correction. CONSTITUTION:Acceleration signals from an X-acceleration sensor 17 and a Y-acceleration sensor 18 are integrated by an integration circuit 24, and are outputted as speed signals, respectively. When a pen cabinet 16 is rotated, an angular acceleration signal generated in the piezoelectric oscillation gyro is detected by the angular acceleration detection circuit 25 of a signal processing circuit 20, and it is integrated by an integration circuit 26, and is inputted to a correction circuit 28 after being converted to the angular acceleration signal. The correction circuit 28 corrects the speed signals of X and Y inputted from the integration circuit 24, respectively according to angular velocity information from the integration circuit 26, and outputs them to an output circuit 29. The output circuit 29 calculates the amount of movement and a moving direction from those values, and outputs them to a computer 31 via an interface 30.</p> |
