PURPOSE:To prevent a communication error preventing device for a drum peripheral unit, capable of surely preventing a communication error without reducing the working ratio of an image recorder and further, deteriorating the performance of the recording speed, etc., of the image recorder, even if the communication error arises at the time of storing image recording data on a storage element provided on the drum peripheral unit freely attachable/ detachable to/from an image recorder main body. CONSTITUTION:The communication error preventing device for the drum peripheral unit, is constituted so as to provide a control means 71 continuing an action for writing the next image recording data on the storage element 54 at the time of writing the next image recording data, until the writing action of series of image recording data is completed, when an error in the writing of the image recording data is detected by a confirming means 17, and interrupting the writing action for the first time when the error in the writing is detected at the time of writing the final image recording data, to display the fact. |
