The pulse ring cooperates with a rotation sensor and has an annular section (2) with magnetic or ferromagnetic teeth which are scanned magnetically. The gaps (5) between the teeth are filled with a magnetically-neutral material, in order to obtain a smooth outer surface. Pref., the teeth are formed in one piece with the carrier part of the ring which is then coated with the magnetically-neutral material, with a cylindrical outer edge around the carrier part, used to attach the pulse ring to the vehicle wheel. ADVANTAGE - Smooth outer surface prevents adherence of dirt which impairs function of pulse ring.
