Combustion furnace with water jacket - has cooling chamber under combustion/ash chamber, with spatial connection between cooling and combustion chambers

The furnace has a cooling chamber (11) under the combustion and ash chambers (3,5). It is positioned, so that it is connected to the top section of the combustion chamber (3) via a side shaft (10) and has a lower flue gas vent (13). The vent is connected via a channel (14), on the intake side to a suction blower (15) located outside the furnace. The blower discharge is connected to a chimney. The cooling chamber contains horizontal water-containing flue gas deflection panels (12). These are in connection with the water jacket (1) of the furnace. The water-containing cooling tubes (16) in the furnace chamber, and the similar panels in the heating chamber (2), are connected to the water jacket. USE/ADVANTAGE - Transmission of heat energy from hot flue gas to water-containing sections of furnace, and optimum utilization of calorific value of fuel can be regulated.
