PURPOSE:To discriminate types of airplane by measuring a proper number of types of airplane and flying modes to extract feature parameters of noise and generating a reference pattern and comparing the reference pattern with respective sample patterns to be discriminated. CONSTITUTION:Measurement points are provided about 1km apart from both ends of a runway 31 and in positions just under the flying course to observe an airplane noise for takeoff and landing. Noise measuring miles 32a and 32b arranged at observation points are at 1.2m above the ground, and the altitude of airplanes from them is about several tens - several hundred meters. This invention is characterized by using the distance weighted with a reciprocal WIN of the variance of every component of a sample pattern and every group, and the distance calculation is weighted with the variance of every type and every feature parameter to emphasize and clarify the difference of features between type groups. |
