PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a molded form having a covering layer which can suck a sheet film to a film sucking surface of a film transfer unit without curling even in the case of a curly sheet film and a molding concurrently covering layer forming apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A long film 5 is intermittently fed from a feed roller 11 into a cutter 9 provided out of a mold, and a periphery of the film 5 is clamped by a clamping member 7. The film 5 of an extended state is cut in an arbitrary shape by a cutting blade of the cutter 9 to form a sheet film. The sheet film is sucked, immediately after it is cut, to a sucking surface 31 of a film transfer unit 3, and inserted into the mold by moving the unit 3. After the film is sucked to a cavity forming surface, the mold is clamped, melted molding resin is poured in the mold, solidified by cooling, and a molded piece having a covering layer is removed from the mold. |
