PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic motor having a high mechanical strength in which the occurrence of noise and the decrease in motor life are prevented, by controlling the unnecessary vibration in the ultrasonic motor for moving a moving material through generating a traveling wave. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic motor comprises a stator 5 including n pieces of piezoelectric materials 1 and 2 serving as a generating drive source of traveling wave and elastic materials 3 and 4 installed on both top and bottom surfaces of the thickness direction of the n pieces of piezoelectric materials 1 and 2, a moving material 6 in contact with the stator 5, and means 9 for pressurizing and contacting the stator 5 and the moving material 6. |
