PURPOSE:To automatically set a slow synchro mode in the case of detecting appropriate circumstances in a panoramic photographing mode. CONSTITUTION:An ordinary photographing mode and the panoramic photographing mode are switched and set by a switch SPAN, flash light emission is performed to an object by a flash 111, and the switching and the setting of a flash light emission mode for making the flash 111 act and a flash light emission inhibiting mode for inhibiting the action are performed by a switch SFL. When the panoramic photographing mode is set and also the flash light emission mode is set, a microcomputer 100 performs exposure control corresponding to the slow synchro photographing.
