Waste paper and cardboard is dissolved in water to produce a cellulose-containing fibre slurry of density 15%. Binder e.g. gypsum and additives are then added in a ratio of cellulose to binder plus additive of 1:2. USE/ADVANTAGE - The prod. is used as a building slab. The binder and cellulose slurry produce a final product of increased strength as the fibres in the slurry are not subjected to any cutting operation as is the case in the prior art where the cellulose material is worked in a dry condition.
