PURPOSE: To provide a pivot joint suitable for use in a wiper blade for a windshield by inserting a pivot pin through holes of a first member and a second member and a hole of a trunnion and engaging a part of the pin with an elastic collar firmly. CONSTITUTION: This pivot joint 10 consists of a joint main body 13 which is seated in a first member 11 and receives a second member 12 and a pivot pin 14. The joint main body 13 has a pair of trunnions 15, 16 which are aligned in holes 21, 22 and 17, 18 formed in the first member 11 and the second member 12, have mutually aligned holes 19, 20, and protrude inwards and elastic collars 23, 24 which protrude inwards from each trunnion 15, 16. Moreover, the pivot pin 14 is inserted through holes 21, 22 and 17, 18 of the first member 11 and the second member 12 and holes 19, 20 of the trunnions and is held in the holes 19, 20 of the trunnions by engaging a part of the pin 14 with the elastic collars 23, 24 firmly. |
