TWO PLY THERMAL PAPER AND METHOD OF MAKING A two-ply laminated record medium has a thermally reactive coating applied to the base sheet and the top sheet is applied to the base sheet by using a wet lamination process. The coating provides sufficient adhesion to prevent separation of the top sheet and the base sheet during printing, while allowing for ease of separation of the two sheets after printing.
