PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of electronic unit, by constituting a plurality of logic blocks through the provision of DC power supply, failure detection circuit and separation switch with a plurality of logic circuits operationable independently. CONSTITUTION:The electronic unit 1 is constituted with a plurality of logic blocks 70-7n, and each logic block consists of logic circuits 20-2n, DC power supplies 30-3n, failure detection circuit 40-4n and separation switches 50-5n. With this constitution, if any of the logic circuits 20-2n or DC power supplies 30-3n is in failure, the failure detection circuit 40-41 of the logic block detect failure, and reset signal is fed to the logic circuit and the separation switches 50-5n are operated to interrupt the AC input to the DC power supply. Thus, the block in failure only is separated, other normal blocks continue operation and the reliability of the overall unit can be increased. |
