PURPOSE:To surely stop a moving body such as a safety door in particular without employing an electric means in this moving body in a moving body stopping method and device. CONSTITUTION:This moving body stopping method and device has such constitution that the entering state of the stopper section (3) of a stopper cylinder (1) changes into a non-entering state by the motion of a moving body (4), and the motion of the moving body (4) is stopped by the abutting of the moving body (4) on the stopper (3), and the stopper (3) can enter by supplying this stopper cylinder (1) with medium. |
