PURPOSE:To apply a single seal ring to both an outer fitting sealing structure and an inner fitting sealing structure by forming an outer circumferential side sealing part and an inner circumferential side sealing part respectively on an outer fitting side member and an inner fitting side member that move relatively with each other, and forming fitting parts that fit to the edges of both moving members. CONSTITUTION:This seal ring R is arranged in an annular clearance between two rotating members 4A and 4B that move relatively with each other in the axial direction of a shaft 9. In this case, an outer sealing part 'ro' that faces to the inner circumferential surface 13 of the outer fitting side member 4A and an inner sealing part 'ri' that faces to the outer circumferential surface 14 of the inner fitting side member 4B are formed on a sealing body Rh. Fitting parts Rt for causing the sealing body Rh to fit to respective edges of both rotating members 4A and 4B are formed on the sealing body Rh while each fitting part Rt projects in the direction of the shaft center. Circumferential fitting grooves 'm' are formed inside of the respective fitting parts Rt. This process makes it possible for a single seal ring to be applied to both an outer fitting sealing structure and an inner fitting sealing structure. |
