<p>PURPOSE:To impart constant back tension to recording paper drawn out from a roll of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A rotation speed detecting device 14 and a brake device 15 are connected to a spool 3 for holding the roll of recording paper 1A, and a control device 16 is provided, which computes a radius of the roll of recording paper 1A based on a detection value of spool rotation speed, and computes brake force for applying fixed back tension to the radius so as to control the brake device 15 to generated the brake force.</p> |
