ALUMINOUS MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an aluminous monolithic refractory having high strength and excellent corrosion resistance even in the case of being used for the wall lining of a dielectric furnace or the like for holding a molten metal. CONSTITUTION:The whole body is constituted of an electromelting alumina and a calcined alumina so as to be a composition containing 7-15wt.% calcined alumina to the whole body and <=2wt.% impurity content. By making the compounding quantity of the calcined alumina 7-15wt.% to the whole body, the required strength is sufficiently obtained without adding high purity silica or the like and excellent corrosion resistance is also obtained by making the content of the impurities highly reactive with molten metal <=2wt.%.
