PURPOSE:To provide the sound generating device which generates a sound according to bending or twisting operation by providing a sensor which detects the bending or twisting of a flexible cylindrical member. CONSTITUTION:Grips 20 and 30 which are hollowed are fitted to both ends of the cylindrical member 10 made of a plastic elastic body, and a nonexpansible thread member 11 and a spring 12 are fitted in the cylindrical body 10. The grip 20 is provided with a twist sensor 21 which detects the quantity of relative rotational displacement between the cylindrical member 10 and grip 20 and the grip 30 is provided with a bending sensor 31 for the bending of the thread member 11 to the grip 30. The quantities of twisting and bending displacement detected by the twist sensor 21 and bending sensor 31 are supplied to a sound source circuit 22. This sound source circuit 22 varies the electric signal of a sound with the resistance values from the sensors 21 and 31 and outputs the signal to a speaker 23. |
