The support and launcher consists of a platform (20) with a propulsion assembly (22, 23), temporary couplings (36), a mechanism to control the position of the platform relative to the support and locking mechanisms.The assembly has a second position control mechanism (25, 26) which is equipped with a braking system and a thrust axis which is opposite to that of the payload. The platform has a heat shield (27) between the braking system and payload, and the propulsion assembly has two thrusters (23) with their axes directed towards the payload and symmetrical with respect to lengthwise axis (z-z).The propulsion assembly also has safety systems (28, 30, 32) which are connected to the support, which prevent the propulsion assembly from being operated while connected to the support. ADVANTAGE - More convenient to use, producing high launch velocity without substantial reaction affecting support.
