<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of wear in the feeding parts of a feeding mechanism and to prevent the weight of a rotator from being made excessive. CONSTITUTION:Annular rotating cathodes 3, which are respectively provided with an annular fixed anode 2 and a filament 4, are arranged in opposition to each other in an annular vacuum enclosure 1 and the cathodes 3 are respectively levitated magnetically by each electromagnet device 5 and are rotatably driven. Secondary coils 12 of roughly the same core shape as that of these cathodes 3 are respectively mounted to the cathodes 3 and cores 13 with each primary coil 14 wound thereon are disposed in such a way as to insert each of these secondary coils 12 between them. As magnetic circuits 16, which are formed by making a current flow through the coils 14 by an AC power supply 15, are respectively interlinked with the coils 12, a current is induced in the coils 12 and the filaments 4 are fed in a non-contact state.</p> |
