PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of uneven gloss on a grained surface by a method wherein when a grained molded article having a hollow thick-wall part is molded, a part of a surface layer of the molded article corresponding to at least the thick-wall part is pressed against a molding surface of a mold for forming a grained surface. CONSTITUTION:A rear surface of a molded article W opposite to a grained surface Wf is molded by a fixed mold 3. A gas-permeable mold 3a made of a sintered metal or the like is provided in a part of the fixed mold 3 corresponding to at least a thick-wall part Wa. A pressure supply tube 35 extended from a pressurizing device is connected to the rear surface of the mold 3a. After the molds 3, 4 are closed, a melt resin is charged into a cavity by injection. A high-pressure air is supplied through the pressure supply tube 35. A hollow part Wc is formed in the thick-wall part Wa by injecting a nitrogen gas. At this time, the resin corresponding to at least the thick-wall part Wa is pressed against the movable mold 4 in a close contact state. Therefore, a resin surface layer corresponding to the bottom of the thick-wall part Wa can be prevented from slipping on a molding surface under gas pressure and becoming glossy. |
