PURPOSE:To perform an imaging equivalent to X-ray radioscopy by ultrasonic wave by weighing a plurality of plane tomographic images in a three- dimensional space according to positions of the planes followed by composing. CONSTITUTION:An operator touches a probe 10 to the surface of a testee and inclines the probe 10 in a fan shape with the contact part as a center. At this time, the ultrasonic beam from the probe 10 is supplied to a display processing circuit 34 through an A/D converter 26, and displayed on a monitor 80. On the other hand, the blood distribution image information of each scanning surface is inputted to an MTI arithmetic part 44, and superposed on a monochromic tomographic image to color-display a blood distribution image on the monitor 80. While the probe 10 is inclined in the fan shape, the outputs of the A/D converter 26 and the MTI arithmetic part 44 are stored in composite processing circuits 32, 40. At this time, a system controller 52 determines weighing coefficients w1-wn according to the inclination theta of the scanning surface. The stored data are weighed by the weighing coefficients w1-wn and added together by an adder 64.
