METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CHANGING SIZE OF WINDOW ON DISPLAY DEVICE WITH INCREMENT

PURPOSE: To enlarge or reduce a window displayed on a user interface by increment by selecting a proper size adjustment icon. CONSTITUTION: An enlargement icon 25 and a reduction icon 23 are provided at a window title bar 21. A user selects a proper icon by using a cursor 29 for re-adjusting the size of a window. The boundary size of the window is changed according to a prescribed incremental value. The size of the window is continuously adjusted by increment until the user ends the selection, or until the window reaches the maximum or minimum window limit by continuously selecting one of the size adjustment icons. The cursor 29 is continued to be added to the selected icon during that operation, and one corner of the boundary is fixed to a position on an interface.
