Electrical temp. sensor for surface measurement - fastens sensor on thermally-conductive contact disc which is mechanically-coupled via separating piece with permanent magnet

The temp. sensor contains sensors which can be connected to electronic temp. measurement instruments. The sensor is mounted on a heat conducting contact plate (3) mechanically connected to an axially magnetised permanent magnet (6) via a heat insulating distance piece (5). The thermal transducer wire ends are directly soldered or welded to the contact plate adjacent to each other. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sensor is thermoelement, PT 100 resistance, negative temp. coefficient resistance, thermistor or other resistance type which converts temp. into electrical parameter, e.g. voltage. Surface temp. sensor avoids large thermal time constant, difficult handling, rigorous mounting requirements and complex construction.
