PURPOSE:To prevent diazonium salt in a lower layer from being decomposed and to obtain superior color distinction characteristic by providing at least two or more diazo heat sensitive recording layers on the upper surface of a supporting body and, arranging an intermediate layer containing at least an ultraviolet absorbent at each interval between the layers. CONSTITUTION:This multi-color heat sensitive recording body has at least two ore more diazo heat sensitive recording layers containing diazonium chloride and a coupler compound developing a color through thermal reaction with the diazonium chloride. An intermediate layer containing microcapsules which contain an ultraviolet absorbent and are actually unable to develop color is arranged between the upper and lower diazo heat sensitive recording layers. The using ultraviolet absorbent should absorb the light of the wavelength dissolving diazonium chloride in the upper recording layer and pass the light of the wavelength dissolving diazonium chloride in the lower recording layer. Accordingly, the diazonium chloride in the lower layer is prevented from being decomposed and the superior color distinction characteristic is obtained. |
