PURPOSE:To avoid the adhesion of toner even when the toner advances between a developing device side plate and a developer carrier member and to prevent the abnormality of an image caused by the adhesion of the toner by using an electrostatic actuator member as a developer feeding means. CONSTITUTION:The driving electrode 164 of a 1st electrostatic actuator is constituted of a linear electrode in parallel with the shaft of a developing roller 161, and the driving electrode 166 of a 2nd electrostatic actuator is provided to be orthogonally crossed with the shaft of the roller 161 in an outer area than both ends of the electrode 164. By impressing voltage on plural electrodes of the electrostatic actuator, driving force is electrostatically generated by interaction between the charge of the electrostatically charged toner and the charge of the plural electrodes of the electrostatic actuator, and the toner is fed by the generated driving force. In such a case, the toner moved to the end is fed toward a central part side by any force by the 2nd electrostatic actuator part, so that the toner is prevented from being accumulated or dropped on the end of a toner feeding means. |
