PURPOSE:To perform the piping extending works efficiently by grasping a new piping with a crane mechanism mounted on a dolly which is self-mobile along piping, and lifting it down onto the specified connecting position. CONSTITUTION:A crane mechanism 4 having hang support mechanisms 4b, 4b and a mounting/removing mechanism 4c is mounted on a dolly 2 which is self-mobile along piping. The dolly 4 is allowed to travel to the piping connecting position, and the mounting/removing mechanism 4c is operated, and a new piping to be connected Pb is fixed at the foremost extremity of the hang support mechanism 4b. The gripped new pipe Pb is lifted down onto the intended connecting position by the hang support mechanism 4b. A connecting mechanism 6 is operated, and the new pipe Pb is connected with the already laid piping Pa. Therein the crane mechanism and/or connecting mechanism 6 is automatically controlled through a control mechanism 8. |
