<p>The present invention relates to a unit for producing hot air, with air recycling, of the type formed by an enclosure (2) surrounding a parallelepipedal cooking chamber (3) including, at least, one vertical heat exchanger (4) and a series of fans (5) arranged vertically on the internal back wall (6) of the cooking chamber (3); each heat exchanger (4) being heated by a burner (7) located at the base of the vertical heat exchanger (4), whereas in the upper wall of the chamber (3) there is a manifold ending in a chimney (duct), characterised in that at least one vertical heat exchanger (4) is located in a corner (10) of the rear part of the cooking chamber (3), and that the shape of the exchanger (4) is capable of interacting with the shapes of the corner (10) in order to create spaces in front of (11) and behind (12) the heat exchanger (4) promoting the exchanges of air.
