The precast unit for supporting slopes and retaining walls is rounded in shape on plan with legs shaped like rugby balls. It can support vertical loads through its legs at angles between 90 and 45 degrees. It supports embankment slopes not exceeding three horizontal to two vertical. The front face (1) is rounded, hollow on its two sides (2) for placing geotextile membrane using friction between the membrane and embankment. The rear face has rounded ends and is flat in the middle. Walls both at 45 degrees and vertical may be built with the same standard unit. USE/ADVANTAGES - Simple design, easy to erect, adapts to vertical and angled loads.
