The shoe (10) carries a rod (12) which bears on the wheel of the carried vehicle and prevents movement. The shoe can slide on the square bar (4) to adjust for that vehicle's track. At the end of the bar (4) is the cursor assembly (20, etc.) which straddles the rail (2). The angled faces (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) fit on the outside of the rail. The pad (15) has faces (15.3. 15.4, 15.5) which match the faces (6.1,2,3) and can squeeze the rail (2) over a varied alignment of the rod (4). The pad (15) is raised and lowered by the lever (13) which is bolted to the rod (14), against the spring (17). The lever (13) has two rollers (19.1,2) which ride on the ramps (5.4, 5.6). The lever (13) is raised to unlock the cursor, and pushed down to lock it. ADVANTAGE - Locking and unlocking of the device is easy and rapid, over varying alignments with the rail.
