PURPOSE:To prevent the program of a microcomputer from being stolen, decoded, or copied by providing a vector address generating mechanism capable of setting an instruction start address arbitrarily before starting up a system. CONSTITUTION:The vector address generating mechanism 12 capable of setting the instruction start address arbitrarily before the system is started up is provided. A user can easily prepare the program of a developed system based on the instruction start address and opened information by setting different instruction start addresses at every user or application system to be used, and also, since the different instruction start addresses are provided by the system, it is possible to prevent the system from being operated normally even by comprising the same system and using a copied program, and also, it is hard to decode or copy the program since the leading position of the program is unknown to a third party. Also, only the different instruction starting addresses are set, and processing speed can be prevented from being decelerated. |
