The cylinder for the power steering of a vehicle has a piston and at least one piston rod (6) with seals between the piston rods and the cylinder wall. The guide rings are held in place inside the cylinder by piercing (2) and crimping (3). One or more sealing elements (4) is placed between the positioned guide rings.
