<p>The method consists in using, as an impregnating agent, a composition selected from a group including the following components in per cent by weight: paraffins C17-C35 23.0 - 55.0, resins 8.5 - 27.0, asphaltenes 3.0 - 8.0, aromatic hydrocarbons 33.5 - 42.0 and selecting, before impregnation, the most suitable mixture for a given building material, depending on the design value of the coefficient Khp of hydrophoby of the impregnating mixture in relation to the initial building material. The invention is preferably intended for use in building foundations, embankments and dams.</p> |
