This system improves a resolution and a focusing characteristic of the color CRT by enlarging the main electrostatic focusing lens effectively. The system comprises rims (25)(26), which are extended to the outer-upper side walls (23)(24) of an electrode body (27), lips (28)(29), which are continued on the rims toward the inside of electrode body (27), and control electrodes (32)(33), which have control elements (34)(36) and control the electric field.
