PURPOSE:To improve the storing or maintaining efficiency of a catalog, and the utilizing efficiency of a memory by realizing the control of a general catalog by a simple program structure. CONSTITUTION:A catalog control part 2 calls a catalog film inputting and outputting part 4, and extends the data of a catalog data file 6 through a catalog data managing part 5 in a catalog data area 8. The catalog data area 8 is equipped with a catalog pool which stores each pool information and data, and a pool management table which manages the catalog pool by a pool number. Then, the pool number and pool information of the catalog to be executed at present are stored in an information table 10. At the time of execution, the catalog control part 2 sets the pool number and the pool information or the like, and the catalog data managing part 5 decides the catalog pool to be executed at present from the pool management table by referring to the pool number of the information table 10 before a catalog data access in order to realize a nesting. |
