PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic measuring apparatus, which can directly measure the sounds in an acoustic lens and coupler liquid. CONSTITUTION:A part of the reference signals of a specified frequency is cut out with a semiconductor switch 22, and the burst wave is generated. The wave is converted into the electroacoustic signal with a piezoelectric transducer 24. An acoustic lens 26 is attached to the transducer 24. The ultrasonic waves of the convergent wave and the plane wave are cast into a sample 29 through coupler liquid 27. The sound speed is measured with the plane wave and the measurement of the surface sound wave and the formation of the ultrasonic- wave image are performed based on the convergent wave in this ultrasonic measuring apparatus. |
